Yoga Flow & Mixed Level - Cindy Hutchison, RYT..Appropriate for Advanced beginners to intermediate. Vinyasa is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. Expect a stronger practice which will include Back bending asanas, inversions and partner work and attention to breath and precise alignment.
Gentle Yoga Therapeutics - Carla Mahoney, RYT
Gentle Yoga Therapeutics & Back Care Whether you have an established practice or are new to yoga, this gentle yoga class will invite you to move with awareness. Carla has a long history of caring for her back as a preventative for pain. Expect a practice honoring your own body and it’s specific needs. There will be attention to the back body, use of breath, proper alignment and focus to develop strength and flexibility. Meditation skills will be used to draw the mind into the body for the ultimate in movement and release. Expect a mindful practice. Pace will be based on the needs of the students. This is an abiding yoga experience; prepare to take what you experience on the mat into your life.
Beginners- Cindy Reed LCSW and Sherrie Graham Greene Basic level classes are for students who are establishing a basic knowledge of yoga. Instruction and pace will adapt to the class level. Attention to yoga therapeutics and its application to the individual's needs, precise alignment instruction and encouragement in developing conscious awareness utilizing the breath and inner body taught in a compassionate and friendly environment. Some students tell me they feel so comfortable in this class that they "plan to stay at this level for a long time".
Gentle Yoga: Hatha blend flow class at a slower pace with breath and precise alignment emphasized. Theme- centered class to deepen your understanding of how a yoga practice builds inner resources to assist in responding to life, blended with guided meditation. Beginner to advanced beginner poses with modifications and therapeutic applications.
Subtle Power Yoga with Sarah Braun RYT –This class is dedicated to cultivating curiosity and the playful 'beginners mind.' We will challenge our expectations of ourselves and connect with the subtle layers of experience through lila or divine play. A fun, alignment focused and empowering class for all levels. Sarah infuses mindfulness and meditation throughout the class for a full experience of yoga.
Kripalu - with Anita Courtney RYT...Wednesdays @ 7:00p
Using asana, breath, meditation and restorative practices, Anita attempts to create an experience for students that echoes into their lives after they leave class. The class is appropriate for new and long time practitioners. Anita received her yoga teaching certification at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2000. She is a certified Relax and Renew instructor for restorative yoga and a Level I Life Force Yoga Teacher which addresses depression and anxiety. She has studied mediation at the Shambhala Center and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at the Duke Center for Integrative Medicine.

'Speedball Yoga': a Challenging Vinyasa yoga series, with inspiring instruction to 'cool' tunes in a warm heated environment.
Since 2008 Toby has taught a pre-season yoga class for the University of Kentucky Baseball Team.
